AI Hairstyles lets you explore haircuts and colors. Uploading a photo previews it in your browser; live processing starts only after you confirm photo permission and consent to external AI processing.
Demo and live editing
Demo comparisons use fixed portraits of fictional adults. They do not edit your uploaded photo. In live mode, your photo and selected haircut and color instructions are sent to an external AI image-processing service after your confirmation. Access provided for processing expires after 10 minutes. This site’s temporary copies can be cleared, but clearing them does not erase copies held by the processing service. External processing and retention follow separate policies.
Temporary photos and results
On this site, temporary photos and results are kept in private application storage for up to 30 minutes. They are excluded from static pages, search indexing, analytics and saved-style browser storage. Results are accessible to the browser session that created them. Use Clear photos from this session to remove this site’s copies earlier. Deleting a local copy or cancelling cannot guarantee deletion or cancellation at the provider, or prevent an upstream charge. Downloaded files remain on your device.
Results you save in My Looks
If you sign in and choose Save for 7 days, we keep a private copy of the generated image, its style and color, and the save and expiration times in your account for seven days from saving. Your uploaded original stays subject to the temporary photo policy above. You can view, download or delete saved images in My Looks. Clearing the try-on session clears temporary images. To remove a saved copy early, delete it from My Looks.
Cookies and browser storage
This application currently does not load advertising or analytics scripts. Its first-party cookies support sign-in, photo-session access and guest-credit identification. Cookies contain random identifiers, not your photo, card details or Google password. The cookies below are HttpOnly, so page JavaScript cannot read them; production cookies also use Secure and are sent over HTTPS.
Google sign-in protection · 10 minutes
__Host-ah_oauth links your browser to the Google sign-in request and helps prevent a different browser from completing it. It is set when you start signing in, expires after 10 minutes, and is cleared when the sign-in callback is handled.
Google account session · 24 hours
__Host-ah_auth keeps you signed in and lets the server associate credits and purchases with your verified Google account. It expires 24 hours after sign-in. Signing out clears this cookie and revokes that server session. Signing in again creates a new session; sign-out does not delete your account balance or payment records.
Photo-session access · 1 hour
__Host-ah_session identifies the browser session allowed to read or clear its temporary generation jobs and results. It expires one hour after being set. This is separate from photo retention: access to a photo or result expires within 30 minutes, even if the cookie is still present. The Clear photos from this session control removes temporary photos and results; it does not sign you out or remove the guest-credit cookie.
Guest-credit identification · up to 365 days
__Host-ah_guest associates this browser with its guest-credit balance so a page refresh does not issue a new allowance. Signing in links any remaining trial to your Google account without granting extra trials. Signing out does not reset it. Its configured lifetime is 365 days after being set; your browser may remove it sooner. Clearing it removes this browser’s link to that guest balance. It does not delete the server’s credit records or reset network-based trial limits.
On local development addresses, the same cookies may appear without the __Host- prefix, for example ah_oauth, ah_auth, ah_session and ah_guest. The local Node photo-session cookie is named ah_session.
Saved hairstyles · until you remove them
aihairstyles.saved.v1 is localStorage, not a cookie. It stores only the hairstyle IDs you save on this device. It has no application-defined expiry. Unsave a style using its heart button to remove that ID, or clear this site’s browser data to remove the entire list. Photos and generated image bytes are never saved in this list.
How to clear browser data
- Use the account button to sign out of Google on this site. This revokes this site’s sign-in session; it does not sign you out of Google elsewhere.
- Use Clear photos from this session before clearing browser data if you want to request deletion of this site’s temporary photos and results. Removing cookies first can remove your access to those results, but it is not a server-deletion request. The expiry window still applies.
- To remove cookies and saved styles together, open your browser’s site information or Settings, find Cookies and site data, search for
aihairstyles.app, and delete its stored data. Browser labels vary. Local development at127.0.0.1uses separate site data.
Clearing site data signs you out and removes local favorites and guest identification. It does not delete account balances, order records, provider-held copies or files you have downloaded. Blocking all cookies can prevent sign-in, credit identification and access to temporary results.
Server records and payment providers
Google sign-in uses your verified account identifier and email to associate credits with your account. We store account balances, order identifiers, payment amounts and settlement records separately from short-lived photos. These records do not automatically expire when a cookie expires or browser data is cleared. Account or financial-record deletion requests require separate review.
Guest abuse controls use a hashed network identifier and request counters for rolling 24-hour limits. Expired counter entries are removed during application cleanup. These are server records, not browser cookies.
PayPal and Waffo handle payment details on their own checkout pages; this site does not collect card numbers. Google, PayPal and Waffo may use their own cookies when you visit their pages. Clearing this site’s data does not clear those providers’ data. Their privacy and cookie policies apply to their services.
Your choices and support
You can browse without uploading a photo, remove a selected photo, clear a result and sign out. Signing out does not delete financial records. For account or privacy questions, contact support. You can also use the merchant contact on your payment receipt for billing questions. Provider data handling follows the provider’s own policy.
